In this post I will briefly go through Call-to-Action (CTA) buttons and then how you add this to your RetentionGrid campaigns in the editor. It’s very simple and will transform the impact of your campaigns.
Call-to-Action (CTA) Buttons
A key to nearly any email campaign is having a strong Call-to-Action. A button saying something like, ‘Buy Now’ or ‘Shop Now’ are extremely popular. Feel free to be creative with your choice of wording, but remember this should want to make the customer react immediately and bring them back to your store. Also think about how it relates to the connect in the rest of your email. If you are launching a new set of products then your Call-to-Action could be ‘Check Out Our New Products’ for example.
Create a Call-to-Action (CTA) in the RetentionGrid Editor
When you’re editing your campaign and have decided on the perfect place and copy for your button, first select the text that you want to turn into a CTA button and click on ‘cta’.
A lightbox will show up with the link to your shop; you can also change this URL to make the button direct to anything else (like an Instagram profile).
If you want, you can change the CTA color by clicking the ‘Preferences’ button below the editor or in your account settings.
